Office of Innovative Professional Learning collaborates with local Catholic schools


OIPL has successfully worked with schools and organizations seeking growth, collaboration, and excellence. The services available through OIPL are highly customized and interactive, both online and in-person, and teach and model best practices.

DeLaSalle Institute – This fall OIPL facilitated a day long workshop and panel discussion on “Gender Equity in Teaching.” The panel discussed the impact of the transition from single gender to co-educational setting.  This work continues this spring with a focus on engaged learning.

Nazareth Academy – This fall OIPL facilitated workshops on creating an International Mindset as a teacher. The workshop was part of ongoing consultation with Nazareth on integration of global mindedness.

Queen of Martyrs School – Throughout this school year, OIPL has facilitated several workshops and faculty mentoring sessions focused on close reading and teaching of writing for the faculty of Queen of Martyrs. In addition, OIPL is supporting the school in preparing for AdvancEd visit.

St. Theresa School – OIPL has been working with the faculty of St. Theresa to support the development of a classic Catholic curriculum framework with integration of technology. This work continues for the next two years.

St. Laurence High School – OIPL has been working with St. Laurence H.S. to support the STL STEM program integration and teacher professional development.
